The Questionaire Feedback
The audience thought that idea 1 was our best as it was different but great. we also liked this idea but looking at the practicality of it, it wouldn't be the easiest to do as we had to travel with all the equipment and get around the airfield as it is a big place. our idea was that i would look like a ghost in a war costume, we decided the idea was to difficult to do and so we look to the next idea.
The second idea was fairly positive as it was a typical setting to have a thriller in an abbotoir, this would not be as difficult to do as i have the abbottior and we could of put Hannah there, it was a cheap way of doing a thriller but we didnt know what to add to it to make it realistic.
Idea 3 was a good one also as it had the religious aspect to it, unlike most done in the past the religious aspect is different we would use some odd props like a deer's head and other disturbing things. The props shouldn't be hard to get hold of as i can get hold of items like this as i am in the shooting world.

Mis-En-Scene

Titles and Credits

We thought to have our titles and credits in a bible as it was a religous thriller. I came up with the name of Outcast Productions for our thriller group. As a group we deciced to call it The Disciple as a disciple is someone who follows someone else closely and does what they do and respects them. Religeon is often to do with Discipleship as it was the 12 deciples who followed Jesus.

Voice over
we were going to do a voice over as this would of been great but after looking at the film over and over we dissgussed whether we wanted to do one or not and we decided against it as we thought it looked better and sounded better without one over the top.

when we handed the questionaire out the main responss came from people of our own age group which was good as children under 15 should not really be watching thrillers any way we did give 2 questionaires out to people above our age group to make the test fair.
The results showed us that the most popular type of thriller sub genre was a comedy. we couldnt really make a thriller given the budget and the equiptment it also had a large part to do with the amount of characters and the time in which we had to film. if you notice on the gaph to the left crime and action have the same number along with si-fi. We would of like to do a comedy thriller but the objects was a physiclogical thriller and so we consentrated on this.
When we recieved outr feedback on this we were supprised at the closeness of the results with Donnie Darko and The Happening just squezing into the top their it was difficult to decide what to base ours on. with the results on the right we realised that people like dark thrillers and one that really make you think.
As the chart shows, eerie music is by far the most popular. we took this on board as decide that we would create some music like this. we hope to use garage band to make our music if not then we can cut bits out of unsual royalty free music.
The results here show that an abandoned house was the best place to set a thriller although the woods cam in very colse the only problem we had with the woods was trees getting in the way , other people in the woods and the woods is a typical placwe to have a thriller and is the same old and a bit boring so we diecide to use the village in which i live and some old barns. we used this info on where we could set our thriiler.
All of the answers on the sheet were used so this gave us the idea that we were on the right lines on what is included on a thriller the top ones were special effects, sound effects and props. People though these were important as they would make a good thriller. upon this questions results we are going to use some special effects in our opening.
With the results shown we guessed that the female would be the victim and with this question in mind we would have a female as the victim to go with the convential style. A teenager was also quite high up this was a bit of a shock to use as we wasnt expecting that but with the female infavour that is what we will go with.
The graph shows that majority of people watch thrillers every weeks and some every month. It supprised the group how many people watched a thriller once a week, we thought that most people would watch one once a month but we were shocked to find that they watch them so often, but with the current tv there are alot more thriller avaliabel to watch at any time of the day.
Everybody who we got to fill in our quesstionnaire has had further post 16 education. This shows that people with education have filled in our results giving the impression that they have formed strong opinions on thriller films giving us reliable feedback.
Television, magazines and the internet were shown to be the most popular sources where people discover factors of the media. Broadsheets and redtops were shown to have no impact on people of my own age discovering media through newspapers. This shows that modern day technology is over powering the older generation of media. If we were to advertise our thriller film it would be much more beneficial to do so through the television of the internet.
Half of the participants said no to this question and half said yes. We discussed this information and came to the conlcusion that the question could have been too blunt. By people saying that they would not buy a thriller film doesn't mean they wouldn't watch them. It could just mean that renting one or seeing one on the internet or cinema would be preferable to people of our age.
This question had a mixed response. The least popular were seeing advertisement in a newpaper or on the radio. Cinema television and on the internet were shown to be the most popular place for students between 15-18 to look. This gives us an insight into where teenagers research films and hear about what new releases are out. If we were to persue our film it would be best to do so through modern technology.

Props and Clothing
This is a bible, we used this to put our credits in the bible fits in really well with our thriller as it is a religous thriller.
The pills were part of the props as it showed the drugs deal between the victims boy friend (drug dealer) and the religious attacker.
The map was a prop as i called Hannah over to it when i was going to inject her with the syrupy that would make her collapse. by being on the front of a bonnet with a map i just looked like someone who had got lost and needed directions.
The needle was used in putting the syrum into Hannah when she was on my car bonnet looking at the map. We did not use this precise syringe bit one that looked like it.
The rosary beads came in very useful being a religious thriller you kept getting a glimpse at them and it show the religious aspect.
These are smart clothes that i should be wearing but i will probably wear casual cloths to blend in with the public and not look out of place.

This is what Hannah will be wearing as she is a bit tarty and teenagery. she will be dressed like this to be the opposite of me and impure but I want to save her and make her pure.
